Sake Tasting

In Private Bar Hanagumo

Casual Sake tasting is available for customers from approximately 6:30 to 7:30pm.
Cost is 4,000 yen and includes:
* 5 varieties of sake (changes monthly)
* Light finger food/snacks
* Souvenir sake tasting cup

You will learn about:
Appearance
Clarity and impurities
Colors
Aroma/flavor
Taste and after taste

This is a very casual introductory tasting.

This is a minumum of 2 persons and maximum of 8 persons (on the first floor of the bar).
For groups larger than 8, please arrange with us in advance. We have seating for groups up to 15.

Unfortunately most westerners have not really truly experienced the true sake experience.
In the west sake availability is limited. Most westerners have only experienced hot sake and have deprived their palte from a true great.

This is a chance to explore the world of nihon shu (proper term for sake). You will get a chance to try it hot and cold, as well as different varieties such as white sake or sweet sake.
